Work Period: From April 8 to 17, 2010.
My project made "Falco" is a personal
stylization of the figure of a falcon, a guard position, where I play
with geometric and organic elements, simplifying features, but trying
to keep the expressive power of this bird of prey.
Frederick II of Swabia, fond of falconry,
even wrote a treatise on the art of hunting, he always represents his
trusty hawk.
Carving made in cream limestone, one meter
in height.

Francesca Bianconi, Leonrado Cumbo, Cizia Porcheddu, Emanuele Rubini.
