Internationales Bildhauersymposium in Mehmels

In Mehmels, a small village on the geographical center of Germany, the sculptress Eva Skupin with the town council, organized this sculptors meeting where virtually all the people working. Acommodation in family homes, volunteers for kitchen, for cleaning debris, transports, ... all perfectly organized.

The material for work, a nice Travertine marble, measuring 60 x 150 x 180 cm. for my project.

Work time: from 4th to 14th July 2011.

My project made "couple of moons" is part of a series where I use the half moon shape for define each character, relating it to the night and this elementary form shows a relationship between them as lovers.
