13ème International symposium de sculpture monumental d'Oudon

The city council of this nice village, located on the Loire, organizes a biennial sculpture symposium to give cultural life environment for a few days, very much admired by the continuous flow of tourists who pass through this castle route towards Nantes.
The place is a nice environment surrounded by nature, many áboles on the banks of this great river, where every day is perceived movements of the tides of the Atlantic, continuously changing the landscape. Plenty of fishermen and small boats, and the continuous flow of tourists walking and cycling route by the river, make entertaining stay in place. The medieval tower above the village, indicating the importance in the defense of the environment and communication system in the past.
The theme for this year: "Movement". My project "Development" paradoxical speaks slow, imperceptible movement of plants during their growth and expansion.
The stone, a granite cream from the Massif Central. Measures of my block to work: 70 x 55 x 250 cm.
Period of work: from July 31 to August 14, 2011
For this edition, were selected: Vitali PANOK, Jacky Ruchaud, Jean-Marc Bourasseau, Thierry Chollat, Pedro Jordan and Anne Le Louarn is responsible for courses in clay and stone sculptures for children and adults.
