Wilkendorf, Germany 2012

Spanish version

In Wilkendorf, just outside Berlin, was held the 7th international symposium wood sculpture outdoors, in the atelier of German sculptor Wolfgang Stübner, a great place to work in the countryside. I attend it for second time.

Frequent visits by students, organized by different schools as part of their educational program, where they can ask to artists and learn to use different tools.

Work time: April 24th to May 3th 2012.

My project made "Flame", is part of a series where formally, I compare a flame of fire, with the movement of a female dance

Carved on maple trunk 375 cm. long and 85 cm. diameter.
